Interactions between nicotrol(nicotine) and D h e 45 (dihydroergotamine)

Moderate Drug-Drug Interaction dihydroergotamine and nicotine (Moderate Drug-Drug)

MONITOR: Nicotine may lead to a greater ischemic response during ergot therapy due to vasoconstriction.

MANAGEMENT: The clinician should exercise caution if these two drugs are coadministered.
